Sightings of a Strange Figure near Public Toilets Amidst Growing Number of Suicides

The horror that the pandemic already is, and on the top of it there is some spine-chilling icing on this unwanted cake of terror. Certain towns in Asia have reported strange sightings near public toilets and what is astonishing is the fact that almost all reports claim to have seen a tall lady-like figure appearing and disappearing near the premises. The specific names of the towns and districts are kept confidential until the issue is resolved. Even though the local authorities have rubbished such claims regarding these unusual sightings, there is something very eerie that has crept into the psyche of the mass and has kept them interested in this urban legend. No one has been able to explain a strange series of suicides happening in these public toilets. The identities of the people who have died have not been made public by the authorities and nothing much has been spoken on the matter. Before the strange woman started appearing in these places, there have been reports of people committing suicide.

An earlier analysis of the concerned authorities points to the fact that there has been a rising depression among the people due to the pandemic which might have resulted in such suicides. But the locals are not convinced and are constantly questioning their government. As per one of the locals, it is strange that why would people who have never met, never communicated amongst themselves, and are located in different regions of the world—would all gather at public toilets and that too during or after midnights just to commit suicide? One anonymous user on the internet has posted a remarkable similarity between the reporting of such sightings and the suicide incidents. He/she/them claims that the suicide incidents were making headlines a few weeks back but not these tall woman sightings. As per the user, if you closely follow the reports of sightings and then match it with the news, you will find that this woman started appearing only near those public toilets where suicides have taken place.

This urban legend gained some legitimacy after a CCTV footage video got leaked on the internet by a night shift employee who was working for a public organization that is responsible for the upkeep of the public toilets. As per the short thirty-second video, a strange figure lurks in the dark, standing still and the time is shown to be around 3:40 A.M.

What is this woman exactly? Why is she constantly appearing near those public toilets where the suicides have taken place? Is there some connection? All these questions remain unanswered as authorities have sealed their mouths. However, there are people who are communicating with each other on the internet forums and have started their own investigation on this matter. Let’s hope that something substantial comes out of it.
